Psalm 22:6 I am a worm and not a man, scorned by men and despised by the people. 7 All who see me mock me; they hurl insults, shaking their heads:
MOCKED: Mark 13:31 In the same way the chief priests and the teachers of the law mocked him among themselves.
INSULTED: Matthew 27:44 In the same way the robbers who were crucified with him also heaped insults on him.
INSULTS AND HEAD SHAKING: Matthew 27: 39 Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads
Psalm 22:8 "He trusts in the LORD; let the LORD rescue him. Let him deliver him, since he delights in him."
WORDS: Matthew 27:43 "He trusts in God. Let God rescue him now if he wants him, for he said, 'I am the Son of God.' "
Psalm 22:14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint.
Psalm 22:14b My heart has turned to wax; it has melted away within me.
HEART: John 19:34 Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus' side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water.
Psalm 22:15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth; you lay me in the dust of death.
PARCHED: John 19:28 Later, knowing that all was now completed, and so that the Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, "I am thirsty."
Psalm 22:16 Dogs have surrounded me; a band of evil men has encircled me, they have pierced my hands and my feet.
John 19:18 Here they crucified him, and with him two others--one on each side and Jesus in the middle.
Psalm 22:17 I can count all my bones; people stare and gloat over me.
Psalm 22:18 They divide my garments among them and cast lots for my clothing.
LOTS; John 19:24 "Let's not tear it," they said to one another. "Let's decide by lot who will get it." This happened that the scripture might be fulfilled which said, "They divided my garments among them and cast lots for my clothing." So this is what the soldiers did.
Does God forsake us or does he have a plan???
Psalm 22: 1 My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from the words of my groaning? 2 O my God, I cry out by day, but you do not answer, by night, and am not silent. 3 Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One; you are the praise of Israel. 4 In you our fathers put their trust; they trusted and you delivered them. 5 They cried to you and were saved; in you they trusted and were not disappointed.
Jesus Quotes Isaiah 53 : He understood the prophecies
Luke 22:37 It is written: 'And he was numbered with the transgressors'; and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment."
Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
Isaiah 53:7 He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.
SILENT BEFORE ACCUSERS: Matthew 27: 12 When he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he gave no answer. 13 Then Pilate asked him, "Don't you hear the testimony they are bringing against you?" 14 But Jesus made no reply, not even to a single charge--to the great amazement of the governor.
Isaiah 53:8 By oppression and judgment he was taken away. And who can speak of his descendants?
John 18:24 Then Annas sent him, still bound, to Caiaphas the high priest.
John 19:13 When Pilate heard this, he brought Jesus out and sat down on the judge's seat at a place known as the Stone Pavement.
Isaiah 53:8b For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was stricken.
Isaiah 53:9 He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death
Matthew 27:57 As evening approached, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who had himself become a disciple of Jesus. 58 Going to Pilate, he asked for Jesus' body, and Pilate ordered that it be given to him. 59 Joseph took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, 60 and placed it in his own new tomb that he had cut out of the rock.
Isaiah 53:9b he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth.
Isaiah 53:11 After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light of life and be satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities.
RESURRECTION! :Luke 24:38 He said to them, "Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? 39 Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see
Isaiah 53:12b He poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors.
Isaiah 53:12c he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
INTERCEEDED: Luke 23:33 When they came to the place called the Skull, there they crucified him, along with the criminals--one on his right, the other on his left. 34 Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."

Luke 18:31 Jesus took the Twelve aside and told them, "We are going up to Jerusalem, and everything that is written by the prophets about the Son of Man will be fulfilled. 32 He will be handed over to the Gentiles. They will mock him, insult him, spit on him, flog him and kill him.
